For one person, QuoteIQ is cheaper: $29.99 against $49, and Essentials already includes customer financing and an AI receptionist. At two to four people it depends on what you need. QuoteIQ Pro is $199.99 for four users with QuickBooks Online and job assignment; Jobber Connect starts from $139/mo and covers up to 15 users. Past four people, Jobber's published plans cover more heads per dollar, while QuoteIQ charges $25 per extra user or a move to Elite. Check current figures on QuoteIQ's pricing page and in our QuoteIQ pricing guide.
Estimating and quoting
This is QuoteIQ's strongest ground. The AI Estimator drafts line items and pricing from a description or photos for you to review, AI Copilot edits by voice or text, and Options and Package estimates make tiered quotes easy. Deposits and e-signatures are built in, and a signature is voided if you edit after sending. Jobber's quotes are good enough for most shops, going out from the truck for the customer to approve on their phone, and we don't list an AI estimate drafter among its features. If quoting is where you make or lose money, QuoteIQ wins. Details on the AI quoting page.
Scheduling and dispatch
Jobber is stronger here. Its dispatch board and quote-to-invoice flow are the least cluttered in the category, and online booking is part of the product. QuoteIQ's calendar covers the basics, with drag-to-schedule, conflict warnings and recurring visits, but individual assignment needs Pro, and online booking (InstaSchedule) and route optimization need Elite at $299.99. QuoteIQ's own comparison also notes it tracks phones only, not vehicles. See the vendor's scheduling page.
Customer communication and reviews
QuoteIQ includes more out of the box: a business number with texting and calling (Pro+), an AI receptionist from Essentials, a client portal, and automatic review requests on every paid invoice. On Jobber, call tracking and reviews and campaigns are add-ons, though its "on my way" texts and client hub are polished even on lower tiers. QuoteIQ's AI and messaging use draws on IQ Credits and may cost extra, so watch usage.
Payments, accounting and the rest
Both take cards on site. QuoteIQ offers Pay Over Time financing from its entry plan; on Jobber financing comes via an add-on. QuoteIQ syncs only with QuickBooks Online and only from Pro. Neither runs payroll. Jobber includes a website on every plan, while QuoteIQ charges $34.99/mo for its AI Website Builder below Max.
Who each one is for, by crew size
One truck
QuoteIQ Essentials. It is $19 a month cheaper than Jobber Core and adds AI estimating, financing and an AI receptionist.
Two to four people
QuoteIQ if you quote a lot and can justify Pro for assignment and QuickBooks. Jobber Connect if online booking matters or you want room to grow without per-user charges.
Five to fifteen people
Jobber's published plans usually cost less per head here. QuoteIQ Elite (10 users, $299.99) makes sense if you want routing, inventory and online booking alongside AI estimating.
Bottom line
For most small shops that live on estimates, we recommend QuoteIQ. Jobber stays the better buy for booking-led businesses and mid-sized crews who want one clean plan. Our full QuoteIQ review covers every feature, and Jobber vs Housecall Pro and the field service software roundup cover the rest of the field.
QuoteIQ vs Jobber: common questions
Is QuoteIQ cheaper than Jobber?
At the entry level, yes: QuoteIQ Essentials is $29.99/mo for one user against $49/mo for Jobber Core. Further up it depends on headcount. QuoteIQ Pro is $199.99 for four users, while Jobber Connect starts from $139/mo for up to 15 users, so larger crews often pay less on Jobber.
Does Jobber have AI estimating like QuoteIQ?
Not as a listed feature on our site. QuoteIQ's AI Estimator drafts line items and pricing from a description or photos for you to review, and AI Copilot edits estimates by voice or text. Jobber's quotes are clean and approved on the customer's phone, but they are built by hand.
Which has better scheduling, QuoteIQ or Jobber?
Jobber. Its dispatch board is the cleanest we have used and online booking is included. QuoteIQ's calendar does drag-to-schedule, conflict warnings and recurring visits, but individual assignment needs Pro and online booking and route optimization need the $299.99 Elite plan.
Can I switch from Jobber to QuoteIQ?
Yes. Export your customer list and import it into QuoteIQ, then rebuild your services in the price book. Job history and attachments rarely move cleanly between tools, so plan the switch for a quiet week and run both side by side during QuoteIQ's 14-day trial.
Do QuoteIQ and Jobber both have free trials?
Both offer 14 days. QuoteIQ needs a credit or debit card to start, and plan features and usage limits apply during the trial. Run the same real week of quotes and jobs through each rather than clicking around a demo account.

We trial the tools ourselves, run real work through them and score setup, daily friction, the customer's experience and price transparency. QuoteIQ facts on this page come from the vendor's own pages and public review sites, checked Oct 2026. How we make money.
