How we make money

Short version: if you sign up for a tool through a link on this site, the vendor usually pays us a referral fee. It costs you nothing extra and it doesn't change the rankings.

The model

TradeStack Review is free to read and reader-supported through affiliate commissions. Several of the vendors we review — including Jobber, Housecall Pro and Workiz — run affiliate programs. When you start a trial or subscribe through one of our links, they pay us a one-time or recurring referral fee. The price you pay is exactly the same as going direct.

What this does and doesn't affect

What we don't do

We don't take payment to change a ranking, we don't publish vendor-written reviews as our own, and we're not owned by or affiliated with any of the companies we cover. If a tool gets worse, its ranking drops, commission or not.

How affiliate links are marked

Every outbound vendor link that can earn us a fee is tagged rel="sponsored" in the page code, which is the signal search engines ask for, and each roundup carries a disclosure paragraph above the picks and a note beside every affiliate button. Links to our own guides, such as what field service software really costs, earn nothing.

How often we re-check

Pricing is the thing most likely to go stale, so we re-check every vendor's published pricing page monthly and date the check on each page. Quote-only tools stay marked "quote required" until the vendor publishes a number; we do not guess.

Corrections and independence

If you spot an out-of-date price or a claim that does not hold up, use the contact page and we will verify and fix it on the page. Vendors get the same channel and no more: they cannot preview a review, approve a ranking or buy a spot in the roundup. More on who we are and how we test is on the about page.
